Job Description


ActionLink currently has an opening available in the Chicagolandarea for our consumer electronics team as an Area Manager. The Area Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day development of the Sales Specialists in their assigned region. The AM will ensure execution of performance and quality standards as agreed upon by client and outlined in the SOW/Operations Plan.


  • Execute against operations plan, mission, and critical success factors
  • Manage sales performance of assigned representatives, executing above assigned quota
  • Function as a single point of contact for the client team in their assigned region
  • Responsible for creating work schedules, hiring/staffing and training Sales Specialists
  • Manage performance and development of assigned representatives
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with clients, team personnel and management
  • Complete other assignments as indicated by the client and ActionLink
  • Must live in the greater Chicago area
  • Schedule will be Thursday – Monday.



  • BS in marketing, business, or a related field
  • Must pocess a valid passport - Poition may require travel to Canada.

Experience Required

  • Two to five years of sales related experience
  • Supervisory experience required
  • Retail sales experience required
  • Consumer Electronics sales experience preferred


  • Strong knowledge or marketing, client relations, and account management
  • Knowledge of accounting and business finance functions
  • Must possess a strong sales background with proven results
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Strong PC knowledge, including all Office Suite applications
  • Possess a high degree of initiative, exercises outstanding judgment, and exhibits a high level of creativity
