Position Summary:

The Bose Support Center Specialist (BSCS) serves as the initial point of contact for retail personnel in matters concerning Bose fixtures, displays, and equipment in contracted retailers. Upon contact, the BSCS will initiate troubleshooting steps with the caller/email sender, create and own the documentation process for that issue, order parts as needed, and follow up to ensure full resolution is achieved. Additionally, the BSCS provides operational support for ActionLink contracted project work including performing one or more of the following functions: instruction preparation; survey preparation; materials planning, monitoring and ordering; project analysis; and quality control.


Position Qualifications:

Required:

  • Minimum requirement of high school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience as an Electronics Merchandising Specialist or demonstrated equivalent experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven time management and organization skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Flexible schedule, including the ability to work an 8 hour work day between the hours of 9 AM and 10 PM Eastern (evening hours thru 10 PM Eastern will be required at least once per week)
  • Willingness and ability to work in retail stores up to 20%
  • Demonstrated customer service aptitude with a focus on follow-up and achieving complete resolution
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex functional displays, determine root-cause problems and identify solutions

Preferred:

  • Direct retail experience
  • Video editing experience
  • Technical writing/communications background
  • Spanish fluency
  • French fluency
