ActionLink is seeking a Recruiter to support our growing business. This is currently a temporary/seasonal role. We are open to the following schedules:

  • FT or PT Weekdays; business hours (8/9am - 5/6pm)

  • PT Weekends

  • Or a combination thereof

We are open to an office-based position (our office is located near the airport) or a remote/home-based position.

Position Summary:

The Recruiter will be a dedicated resource on ActionLink's Talent Acquisition Team for the proactive generation of talent pools for a variety of field retail sales and merchandising representatives, as well as other professional positions (corporate, management, etc.) as needed. The Recruiter will be responsible for candidate generation through a variety of mediums including internet research beyond the traditional resume sites. The Recruiter will make initial contact with candidates to determine interest in and qualifications for a particular role and must effectively plan and prioritize tasks based upon workload, including the analysis of locations, the quantity of candidates required for projects, and meeting client deadlines. It is imperative in this role to maintain exceptional working relationships with internal and external customers—the field and corporate hiring managers and decision makers, candidates, ActionLink co-workers, and recruiting referral sources.

Position Duties:

  • Drive talent pipeline by researching, identifying, attracting and generating pools of top quality candidates by evaluating profiles and conducting cold-calls/phone screens.
  • Manage on-line job posting strategy, including research into new job boards and websites. Post open positions on job boards, i.e., Indeed,etc., conduct searches of paid recruiting sites, and network with other retail, recruiting, and staffing professionals. Mine social networking databases for active and passive candidates.
  • Evaluate profiles of potential candidates and perform preliminary phone screen assessments and interviews; screen all candidates for availability, interest level, salary range, and basic qualifications
  • Determine fit of applicants and make quality recommendations to hiring managers
  • Update all candidate information and record activities in the Applicant Tracking System as needed
  • Track placement, turnover, time-to-fill, and other metrics to determine successful recruiting methods
  • Assist with projects as requested by Recruiting Manager and Director of Talent Acquisition

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Prior recruitment experience in a corporate, retail, and/or third-party staffing environment.
  • Knowledge in sourcing, recruitment, and interviewing.
  • Knowledge of HR employment law pertaining to talent acquisition and selection preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to create and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external clients, customers, hiring managers, community referral sources, and candidates.
  • Proficiency in or ability to learn sourcing techniques, including but not limited to: mining of recruitment websites, job boards, and social media for candidate leads and profiles.
  • Ability to create, develop, and apply solutions for recruiting needs.
  • Proven time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills utilizing the Internet, social media, search engines, databases, and e-mail, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office software. Prior experience with web/cloud-based Applicant Tracking Systems is preferred.
